Discover the exquisite taste of Mexico Chiapas coffee, sourced from the sustainable and environmentally conscious Finca La Chilana. This fully washed Caturra coffee is medium roasted to perfection, offering a creamy milk chocolate body with sweet notes of brown sugar and hints of hazelnut.

The farm is managed by Jennifer Pohlenz de Villarreal, whose family has been in the coffee industry for over a century, and has been managing La Chilana since 1978. The farm is located in the Sierra Madre Occidental, in the El Triunfo region of Chiapas, Mexico, at an altitude of 1300 meters.

At La Chilana, environmental stewardship and sustainable farming practices are a top priority. The farm is committed to preserving the environment, including soil, water, and biodiversity, by prohibiting hunting and logging on the property including preventing human-caused pollution and waste in rivers.

Not only is the environment a top priority at La Chilana, but so is the well-being of their employees. The farm provides access to adequate housing and board, medical care, drinkable water, sanitation, fair wages, and work hours.
