Costa Rica Las Lajas Red Honey Coffee is a fresh roasted single origin coffee produced by Francisca and Oscar Chacon at Las Lajas, an acclaimed family-owned farm located near the base of Poás Volcano in Costa Rica's renowned West Central Valley. As third-generation coffee farmers, the Chacon family has earned international recognition for their innovative approach to coffee processing and their commitment to producing exceptional organic coffees.
Processed using the farm's signature Red Honey method, this coffee showcases notes of raspberry, almond, and caramel with a sweet, round acidity that creates a beautifully balanced cup. By carefully controlling the amount of fruit left on the bean during drying, the Red Honey process enhances sweetness and complexity while preserving the clean character Costa Rican coffees are known for. The result is a smooth, flavorful coffee that highlights both the craftsmanship of the producer and the unique qualities of this celebrated growing region.
