Shipping Info

Maker’s Coffee Company and our 3rd Party Specialty Coffee Roasters put forth our very best efforts to deliver customer orders as timely as possible.  Our multi-vendor marketplace platform is a bit different compared to a standard Ecommerce site, so please review this page so you will be aware and know what to look forward to.  It is important to note that our 3rd party sellers may have their own policies, so please make sure to view them on their store page on makerscoffee.com.

Free Shipping Policy

Each “Sold by” vendor in our marketplace may or may not offer free shipping if a customer’s order is over a certain amount.  Each “Sold by” vendor’s free shipping threshold only applies to that vendors products. Free shipping thresholds may vary from vendor to vendor.  For example, orders over $49 for products “Sold by” Maker’s Coffee Company include free shipping.  Maker’s Coffee Company free shipping does not include orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or Commercial orders. We may use more cost effective postage for free shipping. Delivery dates provided by shipping carriers are only estimated and not guaranteed.

Shipping General

Since we offer many name brand products, we ship from several fulfillment locations all over the country and in some instances directly from the manufacturer.  In addition, all the Coffee in our Specialty Coffee Roaster marketplace is provided directly from Specialty Coffee Roasters who are approved 3rd party sellers on our platform.  Our platform has been designed to allow customers to shop for several items in one cart and from multiple 3rd party sellers.  Due to the nature of the Maker’s Coffee Company multi-vendor platform and for these reasons mentioned, packages will most likely arrive separately and at different times.  However, this ensures you will receive the most freshly roasted flavorful coffee available directly from the Specialty Coffee Roasters themselves.  Shipping from multiple fulfillment locations also helps us to provide our customers with competitive pricing for the many coffee products and equipment we offer.

Shipping Methods

Maker’s Coffee Company, our Suppliers and our 3rd party Specialty Coffee Roasters use several shipping methods and carriers to deliver products to customers.  For this reason your orders may arrive using any of these shipping methods or carriers.  For example but not limited to these carriers:  USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.

Our site is designed to retrieve the most accurate and recent rates from UPS.  If you’ve selected UPS as the carrier for any specific product in your shipment, please be aware in many cases your order will ship using the most cost effective package carrier. (FedEx, UPS, DHL)  Maker’s Coffee Company and its 3rd party sellers reserve the right to choose the carrier for any specific order using a comparable method or service.

Maker’s Coffee Company offers Free Shipping for many items on our site. Free shipping is only available for these items when they are shipped within the lower 48 United States.

Additional charges apply for expedited shipping if selected.

Maker’s Coffee Company, our Suppliers and our 3rd party Specialty Coffee Roasters make best efforts to process all orders as soon as possible. We do not guarantee processing times. Items may have different individual processing times prior to shipping. There is no guarantee when a specific package will be delivered even if expedited shipping has been selected.

Shipping Area

Maker’s Coffee Company ships orders to all 50 United States.  At this time we are not shipping outside of the United States.

Shipping Address

Maker’s Coffee Company ships orders to the address that was confirmed during your order.  We are not able to change the shipping address once an order has been placed.  Additionally, we cannot redirect packages or place a hold on packages that have already been shipped.

Tracking Info

Tracking information for orders is provided and posted as soon as it becomes available.  Tracking for orders with several items may become available separately and at different times.  This is due to how our platform is set-up by bringing several 3rd party sellers together as well as brand name items being shipping from multiple fulfillment locations.

Signature Required

We cannot remove the signature requirement from packages that have a value that requires a signature for delivery.

Missing Items

As a multi-vendor marketplace and Ecommerce platform please be aware that we ship items in different packages and from multiple fulfillment locations across the country.  In addition, all Coffee is shipped directly from each individual 3rd party Specialty Coffee Roaster.  For this reason, your orders may arrive in separate packages and at different times.  If for some reason you believe your item is missing, please check the tracking information or contact us for order assistance.

Damaged Items

On rare occasions shipping damage happens even if an item has been packaged very well.  Please be sure to inspect the item(s) in your package for damage once it has arrived.  If an item has been damaged during transit, please contact us for assistance immediately so we can assist you.  Please do not discard any packaging.  Be very careful and practice safety measures if an item is damaged and has dangerous damaged or broken materials, for example broken glass or sharp pieces.  Please take digital images of the damaged item, we may need these.  If you wait to contact us we may be unable to assist with a claim, so contact us immediately if you have received a damaged item.

Delivery Refusal

Please be aware all orders that have been refused for delivery from Maker’s Coffee Company are subject to a 20% restocking fee including any original shipping fees.  This policy also applies for all returned items without a Return Merchandise Authorization number. (RMA Number)  Please see our return policy before returning any items.  We reserve the right to deduct any restocking fees and shipping fees from any amount refunded.

Order Changes or Cancellation

Our unique multi-vendor marketplace platform is a bit different compared to a standard Ecommerce site.  Once you’ve placed an order on our site the details are sent to suppliers and vendors for processing.  Once an order has been marked as completed there is no way for us to change or cancel it.

Please contact us or open a support ticket as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order.

Commercial Shipping Info

For all commercial sales the customer is responsible for all freight and shipping charges.  Freight is collected prior to shipment.  Additional freight charges may be applicable depending if a lift gate is needed.  Please inform Maker’s Coffee Company prior to shipment if special arrangements need to be made.  Your invoice will be adjusted if needed.
