Colombia La Familia Guarnizo is a light roast single-origin coffee sourced from Huila, Colombia, grown by the Guarnizo Family, a group of smallholder producers operating multiple farms near the town of Tarqui on the eastern slopes of the Central Cordillera. This coffee features Caturra and Colombia varieties, cultivated at elevations between 1600–1800 meters above sea level and processed using the washed method, emphasizing clarity and structure in the cup.
this coffee presents a bright, light-bodied profile with layered notes of caramel, honey, and clementine, supported by medium acidity and a clean finish. Additional nuances of stone fruit and almond contribute to its complexity, while the washed process enhances sweetness and definition.
Processing is carried out with careful attention to detail, including controlled fermentation and slow drying, allowing the coffee to maintain balance and consistency from harvest through export. This coffee reflects a long-standing relationship between producers and exporters in the region, supporting quality-focused cultivation and reliable seasonal expression.
Colombia La Familia Guarnizo is Rainforest Alliance certified and kosher certified, supporting sustainable farming practices and consistent processing standards from origin to cup.
