Great Heights is a medium-dark roast coffee sourced from Cerrado, Minas Gerais, Brazil, grown by the Veloso Family. This lot features the Red Catuaí variety, cultivated at approximately 1066 meters above sea level and processed using the natural method, which enhances body, sweetness, and depth in the cup.
Great Heights presents a rich, full-bodied profile with pronounced notes of chocolate fudge, molasses, and cinnamon, supported by low acidity and a smooth, dense mouthfeel. The natural processing contributes to a rounded sweetness and heavier texture, while the more developed roast profile brings forward deeper chocolate and spice characteristics without excessive bitterness.
Originally developed for cold brew, this coffee performs especially well in immersion and batch brewing methods, where its body and sweetness are most pronounced. It also translates effectively to hot brewing, producing a consistent, bold cup in drip or a dense, chocolate-forward espresso.
