About Maker's Coffee
Supporting families, farmers, and communities by offering small batch coffee from real people with real stories.
At Maker’s Coffee, we believe coffee is more than just a beverage. Behind every bag of coffee is a story, a farmer, a family, a roaster, and a community connected through a shared passion for exceptional coffee.
Our goal is to help coffee lovers discover amazing coffee from small batch roasters across the United States through our Coffee Marketplace while supporting the people who make it possible. By bringing multiple roasters together in one place, customers can explore new coffees, compare offerings, and enjoy fresh roasted coffee shipped directly from the source.

Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m James D’Andrea, founder of Maker’s Coffee.
My passion for coffee began long before Maker’s Coffee existed.
During summer breaks in the early 1980s, I loved going to work with my father. One of my favorite things to do was make coffee in the company break room and bring it to the people who worked there. Looking back, I realize it wasn’t just about the coffee. I enjoyed the conversations, the smiles, and the way something as simple as a cup of coffee could bring people together.
Those memories stayed with me throughout my life and helped shape my appreciation for coffee, people, and community. While coffee has always been part of my story, it wasn’t until many years later that the idea for Maker’s Coffee began to take shape.
Why I Created Maker's Coffee
Years later, I noticed something that didn’t make sense to me. There were incredible small batch roasters producing exceptional coffee all across the country, but many coffee lovers never had the opportunity to discover them.
I didn’t want to create another coffee brand. Instead, I wanted to create a place where people could discover coffee from multiple small batch roasters in one marketplace while helping support the families, farmers, and communities that are behind the scenes.
That vision became Maker’s Coffee.
Development began in 2019, and Maker’s Coffee officially launched on October 1, 2021, International Coffee Day. Since then, our focus has remained the same: connecting people with exceptional coffee while supporting the small businesses and coffee communities that make it possible.
Today, customers can explore everything from espresso and decaf to cold brew and single origin coffees through our All Coffee collection while discovering new favorites from our growing network of Small Batch Roasters we partner with.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple:
