Warranty Information
A water softener system installation is required for all Nuova Simonelli machines in locations not meeting required water specifications, failure to do so will void your warranty. It is highly recommended to add a water filter system to your order. Perform recommended filter changes to maintain warranty. Replacement filter schedule depends on water hardness and quantity of drinks made.

Water Specifications
A water softener system is required for espresso machines connected to water with hardness greater than 3 grains per gallon or 50 ppm. Water line pressure needs to be 2-6 bar, and must be cold water. The water must have a filtration level below 5.5 Micron, a total dissolved solids level 50-250 ppm, an alkalinity level 10-100 ppm, a chlorine level less than 0.25 ppm, and a pH level 6.5-8.5. It is good practice and highly recommended to maintain a regular Replacement Filter Cartridge schedule.
